A few days before we left Italy, Papa had his final flight with the Buzzards.
Mama, myself and a number of friends went to watch him land.
Papa's friends hosed him down and sprayed champagne on him which upset me a great deal until Mama explained that they were just playing and Papa wasn't hurt.
Plus, a kiss from Papa sealed the deal. I'm not too sure about the smell of champagne though...
We will definitely miss our Buzzard friends. See you again soon and until then....Buzzards Rule!

Love the pics of John. Did he get to change after the hose down? John - you look very COOL in your plane. Love a man in uniform. It was great seeing all of you while you were here and Courtney learned a new trick. The girls had a blast with everyone at the Village. They thought Gussie was AMAZING. love gab
